How do I get a quote?

Send a file or a photo through the quote form. An engineer replies within 4 business hours with a price and an honest read on whether the part will hold up.

How long does it take?

Standard is 3–5 business days. Next-day rush when the job qualifies and lands before noon, confirmed before you pay.

I do not have a 3D model.

That is normal. A photo with a ruler in it, a sketch, or the broken part itself is enough to start. We model it at $145 an hour.

Print-only orders start at $60. Jobs with design or GD&T work start at $125. The estimator on the pricing page runs the real arithmetic.

What files can I send?

STEP, IGES, STL, 3MF, OBJ and PLY preview right in the browser. Creo, SolidWorks, DXF, PDF drawings and photos are fine too. Up to 4 MB per file here, bigger by link.

Chicago pickup and courier. You can also come by and hold the part before you take it.

Certified aerospace or medical work, anything needing material traceability or CMM reports, and runs in the thousands. We say so in the first reply and point you to someone who does it properly.

Build volume: 256 × 256 × 260 mm; 235.5 × 256 × 256 mm when both nozzles are in play. Bigger than that gets split and bonded, and we will say so before quoting.
Heated chamber: Up to 65 °C; This is what makes ABS and ASA behave. Without it they warp and delaminate, which is why most desktop shops quietly steer you to PLA.
Dimensional tolerance: ±0.5%, floor ±0.5 mm; The same figure Protolabs Network publishes for FDM. Tighter than that wants machining, and we will tell you when it does.
Inspection: Mitutoyo calipers; Measured by hand against your drawing on the features you marked critical. Not a CMM, and never described as one.
